v5 mk2

Hi how are  

I want to do an engine swap at some point(money pending).
But I want to try something diffrent. Can i put a mk4 v5 lump or a 150pd diesel in a mk2.? Will it fit. or is there any known probs?.

Hey, unless you have the skill to do the job yourself it's the old time and money thing  

There's no reason against doing either, the V5 would be a lot of money for not that big a gain, a 20vt swap would prob cost the same but you would have huge potential afterwards.

I would like the pd150 in my mk1, if i get the engine anyone want to fit it for me, will give u a case of stella and a pack of hob nobs, might even through in a ?700-?1000

I wouldn't mind a TDi based on the torque and MPG, but just can't live with the agricultural sound and that puff of black smoke when you boot it.
