I would love to drive that thing!! I wonder how much that would cost if they were to sell it as a package. I reckon with the base R32 included  at least 65k  :evil:

I think you wouldnt have much change from 40K. But thats alot of car for £40k!!!

I personally would keep the exterior totally standard..  :wink:

Why oh why did VW produce the passat R36 when all along they could of slotted the 36 lump in the mk5 Golf as a swansong before the mk6?

The passat will lose money hand over fist the residuals will be crap compared to the golf, come on VW listen to the people who want and buy your cars, not the marketing men!

PLEASE PUT THE 36 LUMP IN A MK 5 AND SELL THAT AS AN R36 NOT A BLOODY PASSAT.

Maybe its the fact that it does fit in that will keep the passat residuals high??

The R32 was out well before the 3.6 lump was dropped into the passat to be fair.
