complete exhaust system gti 8v

Hi,

How much you would i be lookin at payin for a complete new "standard" exhaust system on my 97 8v?

Think I'm on the original exhaust still and ever since we bought the car it seems to be blowing from the down pipe, noticed this on different gti we test drove too - is this a common place for them to go??

Ring your local tyre place, they wont have one in stock probably but could order one in and give a price over the phone..........

the middlebox is common....... but to fit yourself your looking at £138 for the 3 pieces cheapo style.... and £200 for quality! and add £60 for fitment
and ensure if they quote you that the back box is twin pipes....as a load of places that cut price, sell you the single pipe normal back box!!
