Just bought a mk1 Clipper with no engine or box. I was told by the guy on Ebay that it used to be a manual...it wasn't! Sooooooo, I'm going to fit a 1.8 engine and manual gearbox to it. I know i'll need the pedal box, shifter and gear linkage. Has anyone done this conversion? How much hassle is it? Any advice, guides or do's and don'ts?
