Author Topic: Exhaust hangers, which ones to stop the exhaust hitting the rear beam?  (Read 2600 times)

Current the golf has the o ring type, but they dont hold the exhaust high enough up, so you get the pipe banging on the rear beam.

What ones do i want?

Yeah needs to be rejigged a bit, just wanted to know if some are better than others.  want to do it all at one go, cos i'll go down the local garage and use their pit :)

To be honest just lining it up properly using the pit will be fine. It's such a mission trying to align an exhaust whilst lay on your back with no room to lever the thing  :sad:

There's a few sellers doing powerflex ones on ebay if you dont get VAG ones.

im sure you can get reinforced rubber ones, id go for those

not if there is no where to bounce. i had cable ties on once when mine broke, never gave me any sh!t so i left em on lol

i have o ring rubbers, then jubalee clips round that, keeps everything nice and tight
