....Just got home - 4hr drive but in spirited company for first part (Audi S3's can really shift!! One had been on the strip and still had the numbers).

Great to meet some more peeps from here.

The officials were very nice about us not knowing about passenger rides - No problem at all. Yes, as there was a rumble from the crowd when I got out the car I decided to raise my arms in a salute which then got a very loud cheer and I then took it a step further by shaking my ass at the crowd and pulling my waterproof trousers down (but I did have trousers on underneath) - It was much appreciated though and for a very brief moment I felt a bit like Spike from the movie "Notting Hill".

Vid with when Spike opens the door to the crowd :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUjIYX9IAYs

....Nice vid for Hurdy, Dom  - His best time of the day - Very respectable considering how slippery it all was.

Yes enjoyed the day, again nice to meet a few faces to names, hurdy, steveS,horney,Markymark, whitegtidriver,Redrobin, and a few other forum members cars but never saw its owners!.3 hour drive home which my dam vw sat nav directed me onto the M1 straight onto 1 hrs worth of traffic cues!!!.totally a different route to the one it sent me up on much to my disgust
Was quite a sight watching passers by gorping at the mk5's especially a certain carbon fibre bonnet and Tattoo!
Even found my wife being chatted up by some mysterious looking fella, knew alot about Mk5's... i wonder who he is????????????????.Likes a touch of carbon fibre aparently

OK, been busy on the Mac and have put together another video, more of a medley - camera work a little shaky in places. But hey...
