I think its the combo of the big brake into the last corner and the stop at the end of the start/finish straight. Not much fun arriving at the old hairpin with a soft pedal

Here's some pics of me on some track days.
Castle Combe
Donington Park
Cadwell Park
And finally a vid clip. First 10secs shows me flying thru the final Camp corner at Castle Combe doing some scooby chasing!

My advice is just to get out there and have some fun! The GTI is more than capable.
