so...let me get this right...you spend over £20k (presumably) on a car...and a couple of months later the key stops working, they then charge you to replace a battery, with labour costs AND this doesnt fix it?
I guess they see the batteries as a consumable item and not one that would be dealt with under warranty or guarantee.
I think the fact that it failed so soon is abnormal and as a result would indicate an actual fault on the keyfob ? if so, you should get all previously paid monies refunded. Even then, paying in the first place just seems wrong too.
Gotta love dealers eh? i tried to book mine in to get the loose screw (see other post) and they say...of course if its not covered under warranty you will be charged for the labour it will be £65 per hour! with a one hour minimum!!
