what does rabbit mean?

It is what the Golf was called in the US (and maybe elsewhere) but for some reason every dumb f**k on ebay has taken to calling their golf a rabbit!  :rolleyes:

Ha ha ha ha not really, it's what they were called in the states. A VW rabbit rather than golf.

It really is an astonishingly crap name to give a car..... from about the same time they thought Vanagon was better than Caravelle or Transporter.  Or how about the Audi Quantum 5000?
