Newbie MK3 GTI owner
« on: 10 April 2008, 08:05 »
Hello all,

This I my first outing into Golfs having been a Scirocco/ Corrado owner previously and have been a member on Sciroccoregister for a while. Owned 3 Sciroccos in the past, the last one just went to make way for my Golf. 1st was a mk2 GTX , next a mk2 GT11 latest was a Scala. Corrado was a G60. So fair experience of dubs. Always liked Golfs but prefered the coupes for looks. Only got this golf because my sister was selling it. It's a mk3 5 door green 2.0ltr 8v with fully stamped book and 103k. everything works (apart from o/s/r window) and its pretty mint. I gave her what a garage was gonna give px £800. I personally think its quite a steal, comments welcome.

After some browsing, this site has already prooved v useful (as i also found with the scirocco one) and i have sorted my stereo problem and purchased a vag com lead thingy.

Thats my intro.

Mike
