RS6 Wheel Refurb Question - Opinons?

right as you guys know my mate sold me his old 18" rs6 alloys for £50 (yes £50) with 2 tyres. I need to get them refurbed, as one of them had a few bad scratches. He even threw in some ".:R" (r32 'r') centre caps!

But the question is that im going to get them refurbed tomorrow at my mates place and he has asked me what finish I want, just wanted opinons whether to go for ancarite (sp), flat silver, black, gun metal or what, he can literally do any colour, my car is a black 3 dr mk4, these are the wheels (not the actual ones):

Personally, I'd avoid dark colours, as they seem to get lost on dark/black cars.

Can he do a 'crystal liquid silver' with metalic flecks in?  Some guy was doing these on some Anni rims on ebay - Mint.

i dunno can ask him, was going to get diamond cut but not sure what this would look like on these rims

my mate did some the same into black they looked mint, my black rims on my black 3dr look pretty sweet, ive seen a black 3dr with the wheels done into a dark bronzy type colour that looked good

he said he could do the lip diamond cut and the spokes black which could be interesting

yeah you dont see that done on that style of wheel, give it a whirl, better than totally black

lol, they went in today and I went for poly chrome, its the finish that they come out of the audi factory like, bight brighter then silver but not as shiny as diamond cut.

Pick them up sat, il the get some snaps up  :wink:

same finish as the A8 wheels ash should look amazing on your car good choice :afro:

the a8's are diamond cut, couldnt do that on the faces because they arent flat, its silver but a bit brighter then just powder coat
