Hunting Idle and Rubjons setup
« on: 07 April 2008, 16:59 »
Right cars hunting idle!!!! I've done everything and can only assume that the ISV is whacked will be sourcing another soon.

Anyway is it still worthwhile doing the Rubjons setup or will this just make everything incorrect....Think it could do with a tune but does the idle have to be sorted first.

Also got MOT this week will it matter about the hunting idle problem??

Cheers in advance.

Do the set up first, but make sure there are no vacuum or induction leaks. Also check the breather pipe and pot for damage and blockage.

Cleaned all the breather pipes out. Whats the pot???

Checked for leaks a couple of times so can't see that its that.

Inside the rocker covers where the flying saucer sits looks a bit gunked up should this be spotless???
