LOL you wont need trusty when you hear this plan.

Pick up a VW Ralle for ?5000, Twin turbo the motor, Fit a new straight throught exhaust setup, Lower the car and put it on some 17s, Flush EVERYTHING on the car, Fit a R32 dash with 2 bucket seats and a roll cadge and run a 200BHP shot of N2O   Then bore it out some more and replace the pistons for some high forged ones, Then fit a turbo timer and super chip the motor, Then sit back at the 500BHP monster and worry about Traction problems and the ?10,000 over budget we went

I wonder how long before someone gets their hands on the R32 engine?

I'd go old skool Mk1 Golf, clean body, lowered a bit, 4wd, completely uprated brakes, R32 engine, big shot of Nitrous, heavy tuning.

Although, I did have a thought recently about doing something to a very old skool Mk1 Polo. Not many of those about.

What about the other VW engine options:
4.2l V8 petrol or 5l V10 diesel (around 300bhp each) from the Touareg or W12 (6litre, 400bhp ish) from the Phaeton although you'd probably not get those for ?10k
