If you want to go one better than air-con for the really hot days, I have an angle grinder you can use. Roll on summer days and roof down motoring

You can get a convertable feel if you have a sunroof, just put the seat as high as it will go and lean to the left, then everything above the eyebrows is enjoying 'wind in the hair' motoring!

if i had the money my current dream project car is a mk3 cabby with a '6 in it..

getting a cheap '6 isnt a problem, its getting a cheap mk3 cab  :'(
