I waved at you the other week Jay, that was to let you know who I was....lol!  How are the lights?
The lights are ace! I defo recommend an uprated loom  :cool: Although with the clock change I now get home when it's still light :shocked:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

i hav been waved, headlights flashed at and second look cus of the side light indicators and plus had people look at the car wen i pull up a petrol stations askin me if i want to sell it but i wont until ive fitted the 1.3 5-speed gearbox which is sittin in my shed

first morning i owned the car i got flashed twice, and i flashed back.... i always flash the lights if i realise its a mk2 coming the other way sometimes im abit slow though  :tongue:

but i always see mk2 golfs when im in my other car.. ( Seat ibiza Gti ) and i cant justify flashing in a poor relation

She likes fast cars!!  She is thinking about getting a Golf GTI MK2 and getting it converted to a 20v Turbo.

Most of the time i wave, i get one back. But then, most people in Devon are bonkers anyway!!!

So true!  :laugh:

I "look" at other golfs, probably for a split second too many when driving but most are driven by more "mature" drivers, but not been waved or flashed at :grin:

Don't get it in the Golf, which is a shame as I'm used to it in the Mini!

Yep it happened almost without fail when I ws a Mini man.
Started making an effort to wave at Mk2s now and most respond.
