heated front windscreen??

Ello Peep's.  :wink:

Just a quick stupid question  :rolleyes:  which models came fitted with a "heated windscreen"? is it only the one's with winter pack??  :undecided:

as far as i know, no golfs came with a heated windscreen (front)

the V5 and V6 had raintronic (rain sensor) as standard

sadly it wasn't an option for the MKIV  :sad:

i've seen a group buy for heated windscreens being run over on Club GTI but for some reason they weren't doing MKIV's  :undecided: it was done for MK1 - MK3 and Corrado's etc

Yeah i had a read of that post yesterday, great shame it's not on the MkIV  :angry:
my other half has it on her R reg escort  :shocked: lol

maybe its because the blowers in the MK4 are superior

blowers in my MK2 pumped out more heat than the MKIV  :shocked: :undecided:

I thought heated screens (as standard fit) were only done by Ford (and associated companies).....I had it on my olf F reg Escort RST!

Awesome idea! It take ages for my screen to de-mist!!

yeah its mainly fords that have them, i personally don't like them as the wires can be distracting, don't like fords either  :grin:
