yeah mate its basically the same as the 225 lumps just with a smaller turbo, still good to 240 brake if tuned properly, like I said its the same lump as mine just with a different factory map thats all, if your going to do a conversion whack a 225 lump in it, trust me, you'l wish you did after

i think the internals are different in the 225 tt version.
you can take it to 280 with a remap no probs and further.
the golf engine and the tt 180 version can go to 240 as mentioned but your hitting the limits for max power extraction.

dont wanna be racking up the money jut want a simple conversion even if it means just having the 150bhp engine and havin remap to take it up to 200ish bhp

even tho the engine on ebay is 180bhp and will get 220bhp IIRC, that will be plenty

Should be able to get 240-50 bhp from that lump with the right mods, as long as it deffo has the KO3-s (Some early AUM's only had the KO3, you see. ).
