« on: 02 April 2008, 19:43 »
Hiya,
I tried putting this post in the cosmetics section but didnt get much feedback.

So i'l try here. Right i want to change the headlights and rear lights on my car. Want to put angel eye headlights on and smoked back lights. Has anyone got any idea how feasable this is? Whats the availability like? And where can i buy some reliably? I am a bit warey of ebay.

You can get R32 or Edition 30 rear lights no problem. (DIY job) Awesome, http://www.vagparts.com

Hurdy fitted some some has Angel eyes on his Ed 30 the other week. (Awesome GTI fitted those).

Have a look through the posts.

He did get the lights from elsewhere. An Auto electrician could fit them for you.

Hurdy, those lights are nice, simalar to the average angel eyes but better IMO.

Did you buy them from Awesome?

Do you think i could fit them myself?

Cheers

I bought them at the Ultimate Dubs show In Telford from one of the trader stands. It was the only set he had at the time.

You would have to be a dab hand at electrics and also know how to take the front of the GTI off too. They also need setting up by an MOT station for the light level.
