Just sold my mk2 16v for a measly ?200 (well it needed a gbox  ;)) im so sad  :'( well at least have some money for a new exhaust  ;D for my mk1

F reg i was only 3rd owner aswell, but neede a good 3-400 to get it good again so wasnt really worth spending money i couldnt be 100% sre i would get back, plus dont have to pay to insure it now  :)

well im glad you let someone give it another chance rather than breaking it for parts - I hate to see a classy golf go to scrap  :'(  come to think of it, maybe it has???
