No GTIs spotted!!

No it wasn't mate.. All standard GTI's i'm afraid, no Ed30's.. I even went to the dealer in Stockport quickly to see if they had any ED30's in, just to have a perv over, but nope.. 
I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya though fella...

I do a run on the M25, M1, M6 about four times a month and usually only notice one or two GTi's in that time - a few other Golfs though.

One thing - xenon headlamps - absolutely fantastic at picking out the flourescent stickers on the sides of police cars

I have seen 5 r32's (2 blacks, 3 blues), 3 ed30's (a red, white and black) and 5 gtis (blue, 2 white, silver and red)... lol

One thing to note is in the gti/ed30's its been mostly young (18-28ish) female drivers, in the r32's they have all been males of at least 40.

Im only 28!! TBH i see mostly women driving R32's. I actually got stopped in a car park by a woman who decided it would be a good time to tell me that she has an R32 at home and how its the best car ever!!

And I'm 27.. its right though, most of the other R32s I see are being driven by older guys. Still haven't seen an ED30 other than going to shows. The roads are crawling with GT sports though.

Ive just been to Chesterfield for a meeting , driving from the Sleaford area across past Newark and Mansfield , 60 miles each way , loads of traffic but saw not one GTI or R32 . a couple of GTs in Mansfield area but nothing else . How rare are these cars , there dont seem to be many in these parts at all ?   

If you'd have been a bit further north into Sheffield you would have been tripping over GT's and spotting a fair few GTI's too.
Only seen a couple of ED30's round here in the last year though

i see quite a few Gti's in Notttingham/ Hucknall , i dont see any ED30's though, or white ones
