No GTIs spotted!!

Ive just been to Chesterfield for a meeting , driving from the Sleaford area across past Newark and Mansfield , 60 miles each way , loads of traffic but saw not one GTI or R32 . a couple of GTs in Mansfield area but nothing else . How rare are these cars , there dont seem to be many in these parts at all ?

i saw a few last weekend when i was doing some miles, about 6 or 7 over the whole weekend but dont see many at all through the week.

I see far more GT's on the road than GTI's.

Loads of the little B*ggers around (GTs that is) . I see one GTI in a moring on the way to work.

Mind you I did flash him once (head lights mind) and I got a funny look back :embarassed:

I see loads in the south / south east London area on my commute to work. There is a silver ED30 which I see daily in the traffic.

I was! Until some women down the road took delivery of a 57 plate GTI a couple of months back! I wave when I see her driving it but always get a funny look back...

Don't worry mate. You'll soon see me flying about soon.  As I live in Lincoln and do silly miles all over the county.. 

I'm working in Manchester today and on the M60 I must of seen about 7 GTI's in the space of about 5 mins whilst I was on the way to the hotel.. Must be GTi capital..
