Remaps

Heres a question....
I know its dangerous but been thinking
Remaps are great and all but reading write-ups it sounds like 300 horses can overwhelm a frontwheel drive car in the first couple of gears. Has anyone heard of a remap that would allow a tourque limit in say first and second ( sure a couple of cars have this as standard) I am guessing this would need a sensor for gear but I would think there must be that already?
also is it possible to have a second map say for long journeys which is very economical?
SE30 - Build week 18 should have it early June

I have read that the DSG geabox limits torque in the first two gears to 350nm. I've not seen any official definitive proof on this though.

APR switchable maps allow you to have various programs installed in the car although I don't know if they specifically do an ecomomical mode. This is probably done better by travelling at an ecomomical speed with air con off, music off and windows up, judging your braking distances and not accellerating too quickly. :nerd:

Weill see how strong the DSG box is, Awesome have done a stage 3+ conversion on their DSG demo, 385bhp, not sure of torque, so we'll see how it copes
