condensation in Rear Lamp
« on: 31 March 2008, 20:04 »
Hi people, spent a fair few hours buffing the ed30 at the weekend & noticed I had a huge amout of condensation/water ingress in the light, I took a picture:

I'm pretty sure this is not the norm?  should this be covered under warranty?

Thanks

Yes it is normal. Sometimes i get it when i wash my car in the sun. Clears up within an hour or so. If it doesnt heal then you can get the lamps replaced under warranty (mine was replaced).
Leave it in the sun and it should clear up.

Ah, thanks for the replys, only happened on the one side - i thought the light might be leaky?  when your light was swopped did it stop happening.

Never had it in the tail lights. High level brake light  - yes, but the dealer is sorting it out today.
Bye Bye Edition 30

....Yep, same here - It soon goes and has only happened once with my standard front and tail lights, and once with my new LED tails. It's always happened on cars but is more evident with modern crystal clear materials.
