Pain in the ass to own - loads of the parts are now obsolete and difficult to find, including the windscreen (no stock at VW either).
Also Rallyes are considerably heavier than normal Golf2s and thus need all that grunt to push the lard around.
Dimond hell You still can get a windscreen through windshield companies they have back stock and hold them for us G60 and rallye chaps. VAG might not have stock, but going through the insurance company and paying £60 excess is better!
Rallyes are only about 250KG heavier roughly I think, the four wheel trannie makes most of the weight of the Rallye.
7.5K thats fairly priced for low miles mines 60K and better spec RS2 charger, KW coilovers, Porsche brakes, 2.5K new factory paint! Every part of my Rallye is VAG reciept and got VAG stamps in the service book.
