erratic at tick-over

hi chaps, im starting to get problems at start up on me mk4 1.8t. when the engine is cold and i fire her up the tick-over initially goes to 1100 revs which it always used to do but then as it drops down to 750-800rpm she starts to idle roughly, dropping right down to 350-400rpm almost stalling, i have to give her a bit of persuasion with the throttle. when its warm it seems ok. it was serviced in aug 07. any ideas, cheers.

Maf sensor or coilpack?  Need to plug the car into vag com to find out what code she gives you TBH.

cheers chaps ill have to book it into garage see what they come up with. i reckon you guys have set a world record with that response time lol :smiley:shes due a cambelt change, so i imagine its going to be a most expensive day.
