hay all i o new to this sight was told about it by a couple of members off vwwold.co.uk because im looking to transplant a 2 litre 16 valve out of a mk3 golf into my mk2 jetta, iv already found some usefull info on the sight but any more info like any big problems i may run into is much apriciated, also im planning on using the existing loom and cpu and splicing it into the existing car loom, is tht alright to do, :grin:

Not sure where you would want to start, maybe the Garage and MK3 sections as it's a MK3 -> Jetta conversion.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Plenty room under the Jetta bonnet so should be an easy swap! need the ECU and wiring loom though!
