There have been a couple of names thrown about, but it's currently Julian Bailey - ex F1 driver - I think.....

Fantastic road - I recently went up there with the local VW club, but one R32 driver put their car into a wall and shut the mountain road.

These R32 drivers, eh, relying too much on all wheel drive!  Talent deficit!

Only joking - luckily no-one was hurt but is was a shame as we only had one run up the hill...  The R32 has been off road for 6 weeks now, with about 6000 GBP of damage and repair bills - ouch!

Yes, thats a location known as Tro'r Gwcw or Cuccoo's corner on the A4069 Brynamman to Llangadog Road.  It has been my "bench mark" road for years as I live 1 mile away from the foot of the mountain .... travelled all of the UK ... and well .. I've not found a more thrilling road.  The best part is over the other side so to speak, the cattle grate to Llangadog ... Awesome.

Cool, Llandeilo, not far then. If you'd ever like to meet for a photoshoot or just for the sake of meeting up to discuss the car email me on g60turbo@msn.com, are you off to margam park on sunday for Volksfest ? Mine'll be the Red ED30 on the Swansea Club GTi Stand.

Regards,

Gareth

Also, included on the Health and Safety report done for Hammond's near fatal crash the other year, it listed Ben Collins as an "advisor".
