that same thing happened to me when i was tryin for a 0-60 time on an industrial state.  Needless to say the time wasnt impressive.   :grin:

yeah the traction control is a load of sh!t on the vw's, the bora does it all the time! all you get is the little yellow light flashing at you

yeah - £60 or so from the dealers; the bushes in the mount are stiffer than standard but still give that OEM feel  :wink:

hmm, hate that bouncy thing, shaking the inside of the car to death. my astra coupe used to do it when i first got it. think its sometimes to do with wrong tire pressure or rubbish tires, bouncing instead of spinning. when i changed the tires to zz3's instead of bouncing & shaking, it would just screech up. stiffen up the suspension aswel. not that you wanna be smoking up your tires on purpose,lol.
