Engine Conversions?

Just curious as to who's best to get them through? Had a flick through the "good guys" section but couldn't find any posts on the subject.

Anyone had one done that they'd recommend?

depends on what you want done, same engine back in, or a different engine, most garages should be competent enough to do it really.

I know theres one which is usually recommended.. Expensive but have a damn good repuation but cant think of the name. Thought it was TSW but apparently not.

I'm looking at options really, but mainly looking at 1.8Ts..

You're probably thinking of JBS Autodesigns in Chesterfield. There are plenty of places about that are capable of a 1.8T swap, and there are just as many places that you should avoid like the plague :grin: .. those ones are usually recommended with a sentence that starts out as 'my mate says....'
