I'm paying £1400 for a factory fit! Feeling cheated now!
I know the units have TMC but does it work in the UK?

I really wish I had not looked at this thread... I really want one of those now!!!

Does anyone know where i could see shots of it working i.e. the sat nav mainly as when I test drove a R32 it had the sat nav fitted but i wasnt very impressed with gui. I take it this is the newer version with touch screen???

How difficult is it to install/remove??

Here you go.

Install wise it's plug and play.

What way does the phone option work on the rns-510??
My Gti has factory phone prep so does it do away with this or does it control the phone in the cradle???

The phone function will only work with the latest VAG bluetooth as far as I'm aware (aka VrStu's bluetooth kit), with the standard wired phone prep it act's as a mute button.
