Spoke with a few people recently and Ive discovered one thing
VW (all models) seems to be a LOVE IT ... or HATE IT.
There doesnt seem to be any middle ground.
Anyone else experienced this?

i just like classic cars. Im completely addicted to old cars and I really cant explain why.
If I came into some money tommorow I wouldnt buy a brand new dub - a split screen camper would keep me very happy.
I dont know anyone that hates vw as a whole. Probably nova drivers at a guess tho!

lol ... I'll have to chip in on the Honda thing!
My missus has a 2001 Civic Sport and she loves it - good on petrol - nice looking car with the Honda body kit blah blah blah ....
It's really not badly put together, but jesus I never wanna have a crash in one, the panels are so thin I keep looking for a Peugeot or Renault badge somewhere!

Just to add to the FORD thing my other half has a new ford focus 1.6zitec
Has come close but still luv my 8v tank over the ford.
German cars are solid don?t see many old fords or Honda?s on the road.
Just a lot off twits in sad saxos

Every Ford I have ever driven has felt like it had done 200k miles, even the ones that had only done 40k.
As far as VW reputation, most people I talk to don't really have an opinion, just a 'grey' make.
