could anyone give me a rough price on how much it would cost to replace a head gasket on my golf sportline in a garage.dx engine.

don't know where to start veedub.my local garage has taken my car this morning and gonna give me a quote later.been told it would take until saturday to be fixed!!not a happy bunny with all this nice weather an all. :(.hope ur quote is closer blue.

i changed head, inlet and exhaust gaskets on a mk2 driver 1.6 and it cost about 20 quid for the gaskets, oh and a pulley seal as well. took me day and a half and that was the first time doing it ;D
