what are corrado's like
« on: 24 March 2008, 22:18 »
when i went to elsacar this week i followed a few down the m/way and from the rear they look awsome and ive kinda fallen in love with the whole car .and i especialy hav fallen for the smoothed front bumper look with some subtle dish and chrome look

whats a wise choice to take 16v but the car seems abit lardy even tho it dont quite do it in the mk3's so thinking g60

what do you think overall as a corrado .im still a young lad with good no claims and only paying £740 on a 8vgti think i may take this route

time will see

thanks for all info   mark

It's like a Golf, but with less space and a considerably higher insurance bill.

Pretty car, mind.

Ever driven one? thought not...

they handle better than a mk2 Golf, look awesome and hold their value better than Golfs...

Having said that, they're built by Karmann, not VW, so don't feel quite as sturdy, but thats the only drawback

Go for it, if you find a nice one, you'll not regret it, I've had a few and I miss them...

sold a G60 to buy a mk2 16v wasn`t impressed a lot as filthy says about build quality interior trim especially (but were not talking french kind of build quality just not as good as the golfs) I just couldnt take to the Coupe kind of thing personally and for me didnt find it as practical as the golf. But once you were behind the wheel it was a good car handled awesomely seating position great  but as a daily found it a bit hard work.If practicallity not top of your list get one but as Dinx says there is a lot of rubbish out there so be carefull when buying...
