HALP: Alternator Question
« on: 23 March 2008, 18:02 »
Will an alternator from a mk2 1.8 8v (carb) i think Bosch number 1197311090 fit my 1985 gti cab kjet?

The alternator i currently have is a 55amp i think.. but its well and truly fooked! im presuming this alternator is a 90 which isn't a problem as i understand.

Anyone know of any reasons why it won't fit??

it will definately bolt on physically, but there is the possibility of the little blue wire having a differant connector on it, but this is not an issue as you can crimp a differant conector on.
