check the condition of the bump stops and the rubber spring top mounts, these wear and cause the rear to sag.

I would not have thought that the car would rest on the bump stops. I thought the bump stops are there just to quash any impact caused by curbing or extreme driving. If the car rests on the bump stops, you have serious issues.

the rear bump stops arn't just bump stops, which is why they're large and foamy, compared to the fronts which are small and made of hard rubber ;)
