reminded me of a question regarding the torneau cover - where do the velcro bits attach to the car.
i have a popper each side and two straps at the front but cant find where the straps attach to on the car.

any ideas???

Should attarch to the underside of the parcel shelf

ahhh ok - thats what i was hoping but i dont have any velcro attachments there.  :)Another job for the ever increasing list

I've got a similar problem Vix, only with mine the velcro is only fitted to one side of the parcel shelf............guess the other side must have come off.

i went and had another look at the parcel shelf earlier and....

mine only has velcro on one side too - its the case of the dissapearing velcro i think

I wouldn't worry too much about the velcro Vix, I aint got any on mine either, I thought the velcro just attached to the material on the underside of the parcel shelf, so it looks like there is a major golf gti cabriolet velcro thief running round the British isles
