Mk2 to MK4 conversion hoses
«

got myself a set of MK4 rear calipers (£40 - reasonable?), so anyone know where the cheapest place is to get the conversion hoses?
I've found the for £30 inc P&P so far - is this cheap?
Cheers

That seems pretty good to me!
I got mine from Awesome and they were £29 before p&p

what other kit would I buy to get all hoses?
Normally the 16v needs the 6 line kit, would I still need the 6 line?
cheers

I
think
if you get the 4 line kit from Awesome (Not GSF!) then that includes the other hoses necessary and buying the 6 line kit would mean you had two spare hoses to the rear calipers meant for the original mk2 calipers.

so the conversion hoses replace the 2 hoses to the calipers in the 6 line kit.
A 4 line kit and the conversion hose set will be a complete set for a valver?

I, personally, bought the 4 line kit and the conversion hoses for some TT calipers I had available.
The car was due in for an MOT so I asked the mechanic to fit them all and he never mentioned having too many hoses or the wrong hoses or such. I haven't checked it out yet but I think it's right

right got all my hoses, ordered this 4 line kit:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290204282888&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=019
cos it seemed a good price, it arrived today though and was sent by GSF?!?!
I've read that this is the wrong kit (GSF sell the wrong kit or something??)
It has the code SVW0500-4P and says MK2 Golf 4 line kit.
Anyone shed any light?
