Iv never brought or owned a german car before. Are they fairly easy to work on. Im no mechanic but always try to do what i can on my own car (just replaced the rear suspension, hubs,bearings ,disks etc on my clio)
Still cant make my mind up which model to go for. 16v def looks more fun, plus my girlfriend is 23 with 5 years ncb so insurance isnt really an issue, but iv herd the 8v are more reliable, and the extra mpg will suit as she is going to use it to comute to work hhmmmmm
