ALLOY REFURB
« on: 17 March 2008, 15:37 »
Hi,
i've got a set of old bbs alloys on my mk2, they seem to be in general good nick but seem to have been touched up with paint a few dozen times.

is there an easyish way to refurb my alloys that anyone knows of or can anyone reccomend somewhere to have them done in the Fareham/Portsmouth area.

Spoke to Glenn at HOTWHEELZ and we decided i was a bit off his patch. However he did promise to sort me out with a good contact in my area.

This evening got a phone call from Steve at SMARTEXPRESS in Copnor Hampshire asking what he could do for me and giving me a quote there and then.

I don't think you can beat that for for helping out your fellow human being.

K&K body repairs (or something like that) can refurb a set of 4 for about a ton if you just want them painted, or about 130 ish if you want them pollished. Not used them personally but someone that bought a set of wheels from me used them and they looked spot on.
