Monza II Refurbishing
« on: 16 March 2008, 12:18 »
Hello everyone,

My first time posting on the forum having read it for the last 4 months since getting my GTI. And unfortunately for a sore reason. Came out of the house this morning to be greeted by a big dent in the rear arch and a badly scuffed Monza II 18". Does anyone know of any companies in or around London that can refurbish it? I heard that not all do. Any advise greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Matt

spitnpolish are in Tonbridge - they have agencies in London so you can do a drop and collect

Alos Lepsons are good - based in Kent

I didn't think the 18inch Monzas could be refurbed due to their diamond cut finish???

Lepsons it is then! Many thanks for all the replies, very much appreciated. And, of course, no they didn't leave their details. That would be far too polite. Matt

Monza Rims can be refurbed but there is no company that will be happy repairing them. The diamond cut finish does create problems and the wheels will still look good after a long time.

Its just finding a company thats willing to take the risk and give you a warranty  :undecided:
