Lux Pack... re: passenger dipping mirror

Lux Pack = folding in / out mirrors?

If so, ive got that but mine never dips when in reverse.....

my old 05 GTi had fold in/out mirrors ie lux pack but never had mirror tilt in reverse.Im sure that was added from 06/07 model year (56 plates)

I've got an 05 (55) it doesnt do it at all....just got the car so I actually dont know if it ever did.

Can anyone with the lux pack on an 05 or 55 confirm or deny if they have this feature?  Car is booked for a service next week and I have mentioned it to the dealer to check its operation

Hi guys,

The dipping passenger mirror setting is accessed via the highline computer... via Convenience settings.

You can turn it on or off... plus a myriad of other subtle menu features on lighting delay, footwell light brightness, etc.

Quite clever really!

via convienience settings I only get access to the mirrors option which allows either factory reset, individually or together.....perhaps it was never available on my build...is there another option under this setting?

There’s another setting (in the Convenience menu) on the latest build, which allows you to activate/deactivate passenger mirror dipping on reverse.

Yes there are changes between your Highline computer no golf clubs at all,to the later 56>> onward builds.My highline has more options then it did in my 1st GTi.
