i'm thinkin of going got a set of 16s like those on the anniv myself.. lol
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

I love mine nice and standard with 15 " BBS's :)
The only mods im doing is a SS Magnex exhaust and K&N induction kit
Its already got grooved discs on it so plenty of stopping power there

17s dont  muck the handling any more than 16s true they do contribute to a harder ride but thats not helped by lowering either!
