It's not a lot when you use KoniFSD's because otherwise they won't function properly - It's 'real-world ride' versus 'lowered look', and much as I loved the lowered look, I much prefer the handling I've got. 
How do you know have you tried one as low as mine? 
Mines on coilovers btw theres a thread about them a page or so back. 
....Yes, I have - An 05 build 270 bhp road and track Mk5 GTI on Bilstein PSS-9 height adjustable coil-overs, but only dropped 30mm for the road, resulting in a more comfortable ride for the road - Pic :-

All I'm saying is that I prefer a less rock-hard ride for the road, especially in my neck of the woods. Also, my driving style prefers to avoid tyre rubbing (and wheelspin). Do you do trackdays, block?
Btw, in my opinion you should always do a 4-wheel laser alignment after changing tyres or suspension, if you can.
