Changed my petrol filter on my mk2 16v on Saturday and I noticed corrosion on the pipes leading to it and it seemed to be leaking from a small crack. Had a look around on the forums and found out VW don't make them anymore.

Didn't like the Idea of going second hand and so had a look around on here and other VW forums. Thankfully someone recommended Richard at power.steering@virgin.net I emailed him Sunday and he got back to me and gave me his number.

I then phoned the number on monday and paid £15 (12.50 plus p+p) by Paypal and that was it.

Now on Friday I have had a shiny new fuel filter to fuel hose metal fuel pipe delivered to my door.

Seems a top bloke and only too willing to help.

I'm trying my friend - you deserve it and there's a few of us who will need these sort of parts, so it's in our interests to keep you going.

I hope you make many millions
