Don't powdercoat, you need to enable as much heat transfer as possible and you also want to not polish the boost pipes. The last tithead I was at the 'ring with who had polished boost pipes couldn't figure out why they kept blowing off..... I suggested he scour over the ends of them with some sandpaper - suddenly the problem was gone...

hi mate, iv decided to leave it all OEM. its the look im going for so would be silly to do any other.. and cheers for the heads up

Hairspray also roughens up the surface between silicone and polished pipes which is common practice if you decide to do any pipework yourself and make sure you bead the pipes too.

Hi matey

Im actually going to message u and send you a few links of cats to see what your opinion is, downpipe is also on my mind, theirs the Qpeng which iv heard bad things about and then the one on the thread i made on CGTI that somebody put a link up of.. i need the setup to have provisions for 2 lambda sensors, i look of the one you have TBH

Gonna measure my magnex, but if this is too small its gonna have to be a Jetex

will message you in a bit mate - possibly tonight

what bad things have you heard about the qpeng downpipe? I've only heard bad about their management, I've been using the downpipe no problems though. Only 1 lambda on it though

I'd be in interested to see your cat options as well as I'm looking for one atm :) Was gonna get the Hoffmann but would be good to compare it to others, I cant really find any others suitable
