Ouch, nice bit of bickering here!

Just to say about letting go of the steering wheel; you're spot on! When I started instructing (at a well known motorsport experience day site), this was the biggest surprise as I had never learnt to drift before (national karting was my only previous experience)... Not easy to let go of the wheel when you're sliding... But its what you have to do!

i didnt hit the kerb either,    i let go of the wheel without even thinking about it, and then afterwards i thought, wow i actually learnt somthing by watching those drift video's,

Is your handbrake still working?  It'd be quite funny if you pulled this insane stunt like some DCI Gene Hunt, went to park it up and the car rolled away into a river or the like..
