fitting Pipercross induction kit?

got the mk3 gti pipercross indution kit today ... has anyone got one fitted and does any one have some pics of it fitted? because i had a go at fitting it today and i couldnt make sense of the instructions or picture haha

What type of induction do you have? hitachi or bosch?

Earlier cars had bosh, i have a hitachi, you have the air flow meter, the big metal bit that is on the oposite end of the pipe to the throttle body, it will either say bosch or hitachi, that bit needs to stay on, then the cone screws to this, but depending on what system you have, changes how it fits, and also which cone you need!

Yeah, so you have hitachi, mine is a K&N but its pretty much the same, you bolt the plate the cone comes with onto the air mass meter, then you take the air temp sensor that was from the box, and plug it into the cone in the hole.



You can see the air temp sensor that has gone into the cone, athough i think the pipercross ones have a hole in the metal housing?
