I'm a newbee. Anyway, the suggestion was to introduce myself so thats what i'm gona do!
I'm Rosie, 22 years old and from sunny Edinburgh. Got my 1st GTI a few weeks back and absolutly love it. It's a mk 5, silver, I got it standard. The 1st thing I did to it was put on some 19" replicas, when I saw them on thought I was being a bit ambitious with the 19's as they looked huge on! Anyway, i delt with it and got it lowered 30mm, there wasn't much room left with the 19's on! I also put an air filter on, don't even know what make it is, got totally ripped off with it but that's another story. Tinted the windows 30% and it is going in on Friday to have it's cat-back stainless exhaust fitted. All going well it should be a twin centre exit, if not then it will just end up being 2 side exits. After that the bottom bits of the bumpers and side skirts are going in to get sprayed silver. Then I want to get lexus led back lights and I hear that some company have a few brand new R32 engines for sale, let's just say i'm considering it! I want some angel eyes front lights but havn't managed to find any.
Thats as far as i've got for now but coming up with more things every day so no doubt it will change. I don't really want to do much more on the outside because I really feel that subtlety is the way forward when it comes to modifying cars, some of the chavvy boy racers round hear really need to be told that, however the more bhp the better!!
BTW whilst i'm on the subject, does anyone know if it's true that you can't put a full induction kit on my car?? Want to know if it's just a load of nuts or not.
