Mk 1 GTi rear disc conversion
« on: 11 March 2008, 19:06 »
I am just getting my golf sorted sfter spending 6 years on a ramp in a friends garage and as things have changed since I first bought my car in 1982,wondered if any one couls enlighten me to a problem I had all those years ago.
I converted my GTi rear brakes to mark 2 discs cause the brakes were crap,I used a cut down mark 2 H/Brake cable which never worked very well.I now need to replace it and was informed that a Scirroco Mk 1 GTi is the one to get,any one done this conversion and could help me,would be grateful
