What about performance Hurdy, what's your butt dyno say??

You can definitely feel a difference in the immediacy of the throttle response and top end shove

As Gazbutmkv said "It's like taking a jammed spud out of the back of your exhaust"

Nice 1 Hurdy, good to put a face to a name.
That trip to Awesome is gonna cost me 2, after chatting to the APR guys and Jim regarding their uprated rail fuel pump, they think this is the next step in releasing more power, Dean phoned me yesterday to see if they could borrow my car for a few hours and try a new pump and software upgrade to suit and see what results the ED30 gives. So their doin that right now will be interesting to see the results.
there is another plus side I get to borrow their DSG demo car with 300+bhp, Tarox 12 pots, KW3's and all the other goodies for a couple of days

Mine's going in to Gaz for the APR boys to have a play with, they are developing a new stage 2 map which will be going on my car along with a full milltek

That sounds just great...just great....You are going to cost me more money aren't you

Here I was, happy with my new exhaust and then you come along and tell me this

Honestly though, you will HAVE to let me know what your car feels like if you choose to keep the new fuel rail pump on and what you think of Awesome's demo car too. It could be expensive for you too - feeling what those 12 pots are like on Awesomes car

The rolling road day is going to prove interesting as I am now booked on it too

....Surely the only justification for 12-pots is if you do lots of trackdays? Otherwise, isn't it huge overkill?

Don't forget that Awesome's car is both a test-bed and rolling advertisement for them and the products they sell. How often does their car get changed? - Fairly often. I think very highly of Awesome by the way (in case someone misinterprets my post).

Hadn't planned on it, Dean did mention something about it but not sure what is happening yet. They are yet to call me and tell me what they plan to do with the map but last time we spoke it was Stage 2, not sure if fuel pump is a necessity with this however?

....I'm fairly sure that an aftermarket fuel pump is only needed for Stage3 but, of course, Awesome will be able to advise better. It will definitely be dependent on your remap's instructions about fuelling.
